    You may study the Bible til you heart is content, It is the Holy Spirit who enlightens the mind & the heart to authentic interpretation of the Scriptures. This can only be accomplished thru much humility of prayer & by seeking God w/ your whole heart * mind & soul. Sincerely surrendering your life to Jesus Christ~+  There is a much deeper meaning to the Scriptures & surface reading them will never open your heart to this grace. This is why Jesus spoke in parables & metaphors to confuse the proud. The 12 Apostles had to prove themselves to Jesus practicing daily prayer * submission to God's will before they could even understand the Scriptures. Lotz of hard work spiritually & complete devotion to God & His Son Jesus~

    Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

    Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

    Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.

    Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.

    Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.

    Blessed are the pure in heart for they will see God.

    Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.

    Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

    Blessed  are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.  Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

    Anyone can have a Bible { or 2 } Coey laying on their coffee table... so to speak but Jesus is very clear about discernment of the Scriptures. He sees into the heart & no one can fool Him. He knows who truly loves Him & those who attempt to take His Scriptures for the purpose of ridicule or to use against others to belittle them. The 12 Apostles did not even have that special grace to understand the Holy Scriptures til the Third Person of the Holy Trinity open their hearts & minds to discern the True Meaning of the Scriptures. We all know how close the Apostles were to Jesus & the profound mission God had for each 1 of them. The key to understanding the Scriptures is to seek God w/ your whole heart * mind * soul or you will never understand God's ways or the Scriptures. The Holy Spirit is the One who touches the human heart to love & understand God thru much prayer & humility. Christians are continually seeking God & learning.The virtue which pleases God most is Humility! What displeases Him most is Pride!

    Mark 4:11-12   And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:  That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.

  • Pray a Little Prayer Today...

    Lord I pray for struggling Christians.
    Lord when things go wrong we seem to blame one another .
    And today i would just like everyone to pray for strength and stability in peoples life .
    Lord help us to get over the bumps and become stronger in our faith .
    Lord give us the strength to say no to temptation .
    Lord give us forgiving hearts so we can forgive past our own hurt.
    I pray that this message reaches out to my friends and we all join together to help each other in Jesus name I do humbly pray.                   Amen

  • TRY IT.....Just START....

    Sometimes I talk to God
    And He talks back to me.
    Sometimes I believe I hear Him
    Although I may not see.

    Sometimes I ask Him questions
    And His answer, I may recall,
    Comes swiftly and surely, but
    On some days I don’t hear Him at all.

    But I do know if I call Him
    My righteous path may be sure;
    If I give Him my troubled heart
    I shall be promised the cure.

    God knows what’s in my heart
    And He knows what’s in yours too;
    So if you have a question for Him
    I can tell you what to do.

    Whether on your knees or on your head,
    Standing in the kitchen or lying in bed,
    Talk to God, converse with Him,
    Recite a verse or sing a hymn.

    For God knows all things–
    He knows what’s in your heart;
    He never tires of listening to you,
    So talk to him, that’s a start.
