Hmmm.....where to begin...

Hi and Welcome to my page!
 
   I'm Kelly.  A 44yo Mother to 2 beautiful daughters-Ariel and Avery and 1 stepson Ethan who visits 2 weekends a month.
   I'm also a SAHM and married to Jeff, a long-haul trucker(Owner/Op) and the absolute LOVE of my life and my very best friend.  He is the sweetest, most loyal and loving man I could ever have imagined.  I consider myself extremely fortunate. Married 7 years. Second time around for both of us...although we wish we had met 25yrs ago because then we would have alot more time together.
   We live in a very small, quaint little town in the country, approximately 60 miles west of Houston,TX.  We love the peace and quiet and it's a perfect setting to raise your kids without all the bad influences that you find in the city.
   I'm a country girl, just in case you might not have gathered that already. 
I love the outdoors.
I love nature and being out in it as much as possible and if I can't be out in it....then I try to bring it to me. 
I love to sit on my cozy porch in my wicker rocker in the early mornings and sip my coffee while watching the birds come for seed.  That's how I start my day. It's very peaceful.
I love to cook, clean and take care of my family.
I love to garden. We have our own vegetable garden and it beats ANYTHING you can get at the store.
I love flowers and am always planting some new flowers or flowering shrubs around my yard.
I hate grocery shopping.  I don't know exactly when it happened but...it's my one dreaded errand I do hate!
I love to camp, fish, 4-wheel and even hunt with DH and friends.
I love to crochet and knit in the winter months as a hobby to pass the long evenings.
I love to read!!  There's nothing like a good book to take you to a different place for awhile..
I hate politics right now..it's all very confusing and angry.

I am proud to say that I did NOT vote for Barack Hussein Obama. He stands for nothing I believe in.  In fact, we still don't know exactly WHAT he stands for other than 'ruining America under different guises'.. Everything he has done so far are things that will help America crumble financially and otherwise. I believe he is an America hater and so is his wife, who is useless as a First Lady..

I believe that EVERY American should be listening to the daily news right now during these very difficult times in our country so they stay informed on every issue because....things are changing so fast and most changes are NOT in our best interest. That is "WE the PEOPLE".

We have 2 Miniature Dachshunds who think they are very BIG dogs- "Camille & PeeWee" and 2 calico barncats we rescued-little sweetie pies-- "Mimzy & Mae-Mae",... 5 Rabbits,... 6 Laying Hens (yes, we get our own fresh eggs)....and a partridge in a pear tree! Lol-just kidding on that last one.

LIFE IS GOOOOD......We MUST be doing something RIGHT!
