I've been using Myspace to communicate with family and friends for about the past year and a half or so however now that I have a baby, it seems that our messaging and/or conversations sometimes reach a dead end.  I don't like to speak much about my baby with friends that don't have children (which is perhaps more than half) because I feel like I bore them.  So I decided to give CafeMom a try.  I'm guessing it's probably best suited for my current interest which is to exchange information on baby topics.  On Myspace I'm not one to make new cyber friends but I'm feeling very comfortable here.  And though I'm completely absorbed in the "Mommy World", I do have other interests and hobbies.  I took the entire 12 weeks allowed for maternity leave but I just recently went back to work.  I'm a Texas police officer.  I've been a police officer for about 6 years plus 2 years of corrections (worked in a prison).  Right now I'm getting adjusted to being a woking new mommy.  Anything that peaks your interests or if I lacked anything, feel free to write.
