10 Things About Me Right Now

1. I have a wonderful son and a beautiful baby girl...they are my life...seriously.

2. I'm a Stay at Home Mom. Sometimes I wonder if it's the right choice because of money and the "caged in" feeling I get sometimes. Then all I have to do is look at how happy my little guy is and how much he loves me and being with me and how precious and happy my little girl is and I know it's the perfect choice!

3. My husband is a wonderful man who has this really uncanny ability to get on my last nerve and then do something that makes it impossible for me to stay mad at him. I love him a bunch ~ it's because of him that I can stay home and take care of my son and daughter. We've been married 3 and a half years now.

4. I have a teaching degree. I went to school at IUP for 4 years and graduated with an Elementary Education degree that allows me to teach K-6. I taught Kindergarten for 1 year and 3rd grade for 5 years at a private school. I love teaching and miss it a lot more than I thought I would.

5. I love scrapbooking. I don't do it nearly enough and really wish I had more time for it. I'm hoping that someday I'll get a chance to do it more often.

6. I love to read ~ but again, don't do it enough. I just don't seem to have the time these days. I'm hoping that will change, too.

7. I like to play board games and on-line word/trivia games. It's not too often that I have enough friends over to play a board game...but when I do it's always a lot of fun.

8. I like to write. I haven't written much, lately...but I use to write a lot when I was younger. I always dreamed of writing a Children's Book ~ who knows...maybe inspiration will strike and I'll be able to get rich doing something I love!

9. I'm way too sensitive. I am not sure this is a positive or a negative thing...I think it can be both depending on the situation. I'm super sensitive, though and tend to be a bit of a pushover because I don't want to get into any kind of conflict with anyone...yeah, I'm a wimp.

10. I am still getting use to the whole "mommy / housewife" thing. I'm working on being more organized, a better cook and cleaning when it needs done. Let's just say I'm trying ~ not failing...but not really succeeding, either!
