1. I am a proud US Navy wife.

2. I am a proud mommy to a beautiful, smart, all boy, 3 year old son.

3. I love comedies, my fave movie comedy is The Sweetest Thing, and my fave TV comedy is How I Met Your Mother. But I do also love a great epic romance.

4. My husband tried his entire Navy career for Whidbey so here we  are now.

5. I have lived in Oak Harbor since 2004 and I have many acquaintances but I need close friends!  I want close knit girls to hang out with, laugh with, cry with, sympathize with, and most importantly get me!!! I have no patience for drama and the games some women(and I use that term lightly) play with each other. yeah I have been hurt by upposed friends who I though understood me but realy were only otu for themselves and apparetnly to hurt and undermine other women and their relationships! I know that every one has ups and down and that is to be expected in this crazy mixed up life, but I just dont want fake people in my life anymore. IS it too much to ask for a friend that is either 100% in or 100% out??? I didnt think so but I'm finding that to be the case.

6. I have been trying to lose weight since 2005 and well I have not done so well, what can I say I LOVE food why does it have to taste so good??? So, its a constant battle:(!

7. I like people who are (umm how to phrase this) the best of both worlds, I like people who are happy outdoors swimming in a lake or walking along the beach, but can also curl up on the couch for a nice big ol' mug of chai(or coffee if u like that). 

8. I am a christian! I love the Lord but I also love a glass of wine and twilight!  I love tiwlight but I amnot into vampires or goth! I just think it is the best book series and movie I cant get enough of it! I liek to be balanced in that I pray before dinner and before I go to bed but I am also open minded to others as long as they are open minded to my faith and views too! I think too many times christians can be so close dminded and judgmetnal that they turn people off to God and make other afraid to ask questions for fear of being attacked! It goes both ways you want other sto respect christianity you have GOT to respect others beliefs too! I am by no means a perfect person I have my faults as do we all but I try to see myself as a work in progress! In toher words I am trying to be the best person I can be fo rmy family, my friends, and God, btu guess what Im only human and that mean I make mistakes.

9. I am learning to love photography, and its ability to capture beauty in everything!

10. Well, thats me take it or leave it.  I cant believe how honest I was but hey I guess I will really know whether or not people willlike the true me with out hiding right?
