Alright. Here's the scoop on me, as of Dec. 28, 2007:

- I "stole" my hubby from a friend of mine back in 1992. We've been married since 1995.

- I work from home/telecommute as a technical writer while I care for my daughter. This is a great opportunity, but it's also lonely, boring, and isolated, with a lot of long hours.

- CafeMom is my main connection to the outside world, so yeah, I'm addicted.

- Hubby and I want to build a new home on our property, but we must first sell our current home... in this lousy market.

- I love getting out of the house, especially on weekends. We go camping as a family quite a bit.

- I am a big Disney fan, and I am very excited to have passes to Disney World this year.

- Alyssa will be our one and only child for a number of reasons.

- My first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage. It was heartbreaking, but Alyssa was conceived only a couple of weeks afterward.

- I developed pre-eclampsia when I was 35 weeks pregnant and was hospitalized for 10 days before being induced.

- I am a Catholic and sing in my church choir. I joined the choir when I was pregnant with Alyssa, primarily to ensure that I attend church every week. (It's not easy to "skip" when people are counting on you!) I love it!

- I have 2 cats, who are about 8 years old. They are your typical fickled felines.
