I feel that every mom has a stage of their childs development that they shine in. Some mom are terrific at babies, others toddlers, school-kids and teens. So I always say that I'm not a mama, mommy or a mom, but I will be a terrific mother. I am joyously awaiting their teenage years. Yes, Yes, I know-- you all think that might change. I was the mom who didn't flinch at kindergarten but celebrated,  still always forget a camera for big moments ( 1st days of school, plays, xmas), and only remembered for the first time this year to get Valentine's day cards in advance and not the night before. I hate fundraisers and school book orders. I was the mom who never had the diaper bag with her or if I did it never had a change of clothes. I cannot remember milestones when asked by schools or doctors. My kids do not have baby books.  Please don't lynch me!
