I feel very blessed to have the most important job in the world...being a mom!  Even though I am a single mom my kids are a true blessing and are what help me get through each day.  I was raised by a single mom and now can understand her struggles.  I am orginally from Detroit, Michigan but have been living here in Texas for about 13 years.  I love it here and do not miss the snow except during the holidays.  I am going thru some change and transitions in my life which I believe are taking me to the next stage.  Even though I know they are for the best they are still hard to take and I am hoping to find some great "Mom" friends on here to help me on my journey and maybe I can help them as well!
