  • Personal Statement

    ~I was born & raised a Jersey girl and have been happily transplanted to the Carolina's.  Prior to moving I worked FT in HR, moving has given me the opportunity to be home with my kids.  I miss many of my friends and family but my kids are totally worth the sacrifices this move has created. 

    ~I live by the saying."never judge a book by it's cover" I prefer to read the entire story before I pass judgment.  I can be a bit on the sarcastic side but I never mean any harm.

    ~My friends have named me Mary Sunshine, something about my ability to locate the silver lining in a dark cloud. 

    ~I am one of 4 girls.  I love going "HOME" to visit.  I am a "Daddy's" girl and even now when I go home I lay in bed with my Dad and have long talks about everything and anything.  My Mom is my IDOL. I pray that I can be the Mom to my kids that she is to me.  My Mother has mastered the ability to draw that fine line between motherhood and friendship. 

     ~I believe in God. I am not a "stickler" to the religion but I do want my kids to believe in the Good Lord and the miracles he performs!  Holidays seem to be when we make it to Church and I feel that's ok!  I don't believe God cares where you talk to or honor him as long as you trust in him.

    ~I value my wedding vows and it's sad when people take them for granted.  Marriage is work but it is work with a priceless reward. 

    ~I do not care what color, religion, ethnic background you have or where you came from.  If you are good people then that's all that matters to me.  There is much to be learned by the many different people that walk this Earth! 

    ~I ENJOY NASCAR!  And country music is my absolute favorite. 

    ~ I just read this book "confessions of a real Mom"  it has lead me to the conclusion that a Fat lady ate me and my skinny little body is screaming for her to spit me out!  LOL, Ok really- I love food and I have never been the skinny kid, I have accepted the body God has given me.  I have vowed to live vicariously through my daughter who is a skinny lil blue eyed blonde and tomorrow I will start my diet!
