My name is Sarah.  I'm a 24-year-old SAHM.  I have kind of a "mixed" family for a couple of reasons.  My husband had a daughter with his ex-wife, and I had a daughter from a previous relationship when we met.  Then we had a daughter together.  We're not planning on having anymore, because our girls are all within three years of each other, so I had a tubal sterilization.  Also, there are some differences in heritage.  My husband is half Japanese/Okinawan, and I think the other half consists of Irish and German, but don't quote me on it.  I am a quarter Puerto Rican, a quarter Cherokee, an eighth Italian, and then a random mix of Scotch-Irish and who knows what else!  

I try to put God first in every aspect of my life, because I know that when I choose His will over my own, my life will be more fulfilling.  I'm not claiming to be perfect.  Everyone has habits, hurts, or hang-ups.  All I know is that God loves the unloveable.  It doesn't matter how bad your past is, He can wash you clean.

I'm not what you would think of as a stereotypical mom.  I'm married to a tattoo artist, so as you can imagine I have alot of tattoos.  People often tend to judge me by the way I look, but once they get to know the real me they end up having alot of respect for me.  I've come to the realization that not everyone is going to like me, no matter what I do or don't do, and I'm okay with that.  On my left arm I have tattooed, "Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart."  I know where my heart is and that is all that matters.
