I love music, most kinds, especially classical.  I sing in a barbershop quartet and a champion Sweet Adelines barbershop chorus. I love to read (historical novels are my favorite)and to watch old movies (like Casablanca). I miss my only child, a Marine serving in Iraq.  He's the most wonderful son a person can have & we are so proud of him.   We have a beautiful smart dog, a female 7yr old blue eyed Dalmatian named Erin Sparky Blue, called Sparky.  My husband runs a steam train in his spare time, which isn't much as he works long hours rotating from day to night shift for local power company.  My family & closest friends don't live very close by so I'm alone a lot but am thankful for the internet so I can stay connected, even with my son.
