We have a son, Peyton, born May 2006.  Our daughter, Kallee was born May 22, 2008! 

I keep myself busy being a stay at home mom.  I love cooking, and it seems that my list of errands does not actually have an end.  Does anyone else feel that they are at the grocery store this often!?  Anyway, it's a fun life most days and I wouldn't take it back for much.

 In my "before kids" life, I was an elementary teacher - I earned a bach. degree at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas and a master's in educational administration at Arizona State University.  Since then my husband and I spent 4 years in New Jersey while he worked in NYC before moving to what I believe is a better life here in Houston.  I plan to go back to teaching when the kids are both in school.  I really do love my job.

I met my husband, Shamus, (yes, to the obvious question, he is Irish...) at a friend's wedding where he was an usher and I a hostess.  We were assigned seats next to each other at the rehearsal dinner.  We have been married since April 2004.  Shamus grew up in Vermont and attended the USMMA and now works as a claims manager in risk management for a major barge company.
