I hear ya. I have a little, tiny bit of Native American blood. My kids are still very young. We will cover the darker parts of American history when they get older. Until then, we will enjoy the Pilgrims and the Mayflower.

The presentation today did delve in to some of the hardships of the pilgrims, and some of the Indian/Pilgrim war, but not in great depth.

I had no idea there was a Native American month...
