10 things I hate when people comment on my daughter's autism

1. The phrase "you poor thing"

2. She must be soo smart

3. Really , she doesn't look autistic

4. does mental retardation run in the family mixed with the I see look

5. I could never handle that (as if my daughter was a problem)

6. I thought native Americans didn't get autism (HUH?)(yes it was said)

7. That's so cute!

8. I wish my child has aspergers syndrome(not what my daughter has)

9. You need to discipline that child/if you would just spank her! (NOT!)

10.  You must be sooo strong (yeah that is why I am in tears at 2 in the morning- ask me how you can help-I have a answer)
