  • Get to Know Me:

    Hi Moms -

Well, where do I begin.  To start, I have 2 boys and a loving husband.  I love spending time with my family, inspiring moms, and working from home.  In my spare time I scrapbook and bake goodies.

My children are my inspiration and sunshine.  My youngest is 6 and my oldest is 18.  The 6 year old is in 1st grade, plays football and has been in jutisu for the past 2 years.  My 18 year old, is a senior in high school planning his college future.  He enjoys graphic design and animation.  He also runs cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track.

In Feb. 2005 when my youngest was just 1 1/2 years old I began experiencing numbness in my left hand and arm.  After several MRI's and a spinal tab, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.  This was a difficult time in my life.  I was just diagnosed with a disease I didn't know anything about, I couldn't lift my son to hold him or put him in the car seat, I couldn't write (I'm a lefty), and I couldn't control my arm.  What I did know was that my arm was hyper-sensitive, I was in pain, and that I couldn't play with my kids or do household chores the same as I normally did.  I became tired very easily, and found it to be a struggle to have the energy to get the kids off to school and myself to work - I now understand the meaning of fatique.

Although there are no medications to stop the numbness nor to cure MS, after a few months I gained 98% of my feeling back.  I haven't had an episode sense then, though from time to time, I do experience some increased sensitivity - mainly when I use fine motor skills.  I have done tons of research on MS, the medications, and keeping my body healthy.

In May of 2009 I was laid off from a fortune 100 company after 12 years of service.  Boy - life comes at you and you never know what's around the corner.  I'd seen so many people get laid off and thanked god every day that I still had a job with benefits to pay for my $18K a year medication, and I knew how fortunate my family was to have not been affected by the recession as harshly as many others.  Then one day, that dreaded call came, and I was so taken back, it took days for it to sink in.  Thankfully, I had been given a 30 day notice and severance.  However, as anyone who's lost their job in the last couple of years knows, it's not easy finding a new one.

Back to the MS for a moment...I'd been learning about the chemicals and toxins in our everyday household products and how your body absorbs them from our clothes, shampoo, and even disinfectants we inhale.  Since MS is an auto-immune disease, I wanted to get rid of the toxins and chemicals in my home, they surely couldn't be doing me any good, not to mention my family.  So I began my search for safer, healthier products - that's when fate landed in my lap.  I found a company that allows me to purchase every day products that are safe, healthy and derived from superior ingredients and SAVES ME MONEY.

What I like most about the products is how I feel now. You know that saying we use when we see kids running around, exerting all kinds of energy - "If there was a way to bottle up that energy..."  I feel like that's what I've found, bottled energy and I can't express how good it feels to accomplish my 'to do' list every day, and still have time and energy for myself and family.  And depression is a thing of the past - simply by taking supplements, no anti-depressants that make me feel like a zombie anymore.  Doctors make you believe that the disease is going to control your life for the rest of days - but it's a fantastic feeling to feel so empowered over my own body and beat what drug me down for so long.

  • My Business

I am an independent marketing executive with a 25 year old Inc. 500 Wellness Manufacturer.  We promote Physical, Personal, Environmental and Financial Wellness. We have a proven track record backed by many awards; including the BBB Torch Award, granted only to select companies that prove a long history of exemplary business practices.

We research, develop and manufacture eco friendly consumable products, patented and proprietary sports nutrition, pharmaceuticals and more - products we use every day except with safe, healthy ingredients and are priced like Walmart or Target.  I open wholesale accounts for customers to shop directly with the manufacturer so they can purchase online and have the products shipped to their door.  So our hope is when people shop with us they'll save money, save time, and have healthier products in their homes.  And there's NO RISK - everything is 100% refundable.

It's a tremendous business and I look for entrepreneurial minded folks who are open to additional income streams and/or have a desire to be their own boss and who embrace health and wellness.  It's not a pyramid or MLM, etc....  We don't run around and sell products, take orders, make deliveries or carry inventory.

Our company is debt free and has grown positively every year.  We are a bright spot in the economy today for sure.  If you're open to getting informed, please visit me at http://BeYourBoss.advancingwithus.com and click on the "Get More Info" tab.  I will be happy to set a time were I can get you all the details.
