As a mom of teenagers, I tolerate most all kinds of music, however, my favorite style is contemporary gospel/praise & worship music followed by jazz/blues. 

I love to read -- when I have time... I am fascinated by mystery and thriller stories. 

I don't watch much TV but I enjoy a good comedy or drama/action flick.  If I were a TV person, I'd spend my entire day watching shows like HOUSE or CSI.  Of course, I have to admit that the teen shows on Disney are kinda fun, too. 

I love creativity - therefore I find myself fascinated by all kinds of artsy stuff, making jewelry, scrap-booking, computer graphics, photography, painting, crafts... unfortunately, I am also VERY BUSY so my living room often looks like Santa's workshop when the head elf yelled FIRE and they all dropped what they were doing and ran for cover!  I guess this is because I feel this will always leave me with something to do... should I ever find myself bored. 

I am very involved in our church youth group which also gives me time with my kids.  This is my greatest passion - studying God's word and always learning and finding more to help me through the many struggles in life.  I have found that I learn a LOT from our youth kids... they have questions and want scriptures to back them up - my challenge is to find those answers for them so that they have a solid foundation on which to build their faith.  Life is hard enough without allowing Satan to rule the path we choose to take. 

I love, Love, LOVE words... writing, poetry, books, sayings, and quotes but two of my newest favorites are these:   " A woman should be so lost in God that a man must first seek Him in order to find her. "  &  "Be the kind of Christian that when your feet hit the floor in the morning, Satan says - OH CRAP, they're awake!"
