Hi!  I'm currently a SAHM of 5 special needs kids, and they are my reason for being! My DH and I have adopted these 5 kids, after raising our two bio kids.  We adore our kids, and they are the light of our lives.  Two have Down syndrome, one has hydrocephalus and feeding issues associated with it, one suffers from severe depression from the neglect and abuse he endured as a little boy, and one has severe ADHD and learning disabilities.  Each one of these GEMS shows me daily what God's love is about!  I'm a strong Christian, and I love the Lord, and love serving Him.  I enjoy watching my kids grow and learn in their own unique ways, I enjoy my time on the computer, and singing at the top of my lungs when no one can hear me!

Basically, I'm a homebody, except when I'm running my kids to various doctors' appointments, school events and IEP's. 

I'm married for 30 years to the love of my life, and proud to be a mom to all of my kids.
