hi my name is Becky, my son Geoffrey is 9 years old, he has adhd, aspergers sydrome and autistic tendencies. I am a single mom and sometimes I tell myself  "just make it thru one more minute." My son had all the signs starting at age 3 but none of his Dr's picked up on it. Just last year his new Dr. asked me a few questions and then met with my son. At the end of the session she tells me he has Aspergers. I wasn't shocked, how could I be? I had been living with my son's behavior since he was 3 1/2. I am just glad that we have the right diagnosis and we can move on "one minute at a time".
