W E L C O M E!

Hi, thanks for visiting my page :)  I'm Nicole, but most call me Nicci.  I currently reside in Council Bluffs, IA, but have also lived in/around Kingsley, Pierson, Washta, Cherokee, Sioux City and Lawton(all in IA).  I'm a Store Supervisor for RGIS.  I basically run inventories for almost every retail outlet you can imagine.  I've been to college twice.  My majors were English Writing and Psychology. Psych, Sociology and Philosophy are the most interesting subjects I've studied.  Right now I'm thinking about going after a BSN and eventually specializing in Obstetrics.  I grew up on a farm and miss the open beauty.  Because of that, I love being outside but I hate bugs lol.  I'm a band geek.  I can play 5 instruments and also sing.  The list includes the clarinet, valve trombone, bass guitar, euphonium and baritone.  My favorite genre is jazz, but I've also done classical.  The greatest honor of my singing career was improvising with Kirby Shaw.  I have a lot of pets.  Animals make the best of friends--they never talk back and are always there to listen.  When you first meet me I seem really shy but as you get to know me I never shut up.  My fondest memories are with my best friends and my favorite experience was the 1st time I felt my son kick.  Now that Damien's here I'll never have to think that no one needs me.  I've had a hard life and come from a broken home but it's made me a stronger person and led me to realize the things I never want my kids to endure.  I crave spontaneity and like saying random things.  Writing is one of my passions, I mainly do poetry, short stories and essays.  Trust is a problem for me so if you break it, you'll likely never get it back.  I'd probably be more secure if I'd had some stability growing up.  I'm easy to get along with unless double-crossed, and always there to listen if someone needs to talk.  There is profound beauty in things that go unnoticed you just have to capture the moment, and the best moments in life are those without words to describe them.  I hate change but it always seems to find me.  My son, my closest friends and my boyfriend are everything--I couldn't live without them.  Challenges are exciting, they help me overcome.  I seek to find a love with another that is irreplaceable and unmatched.  My ultimate plan is to inspire others.  I believe the greatest thing you can give is life to another.  I try to be my own unique self but have fallen prey to jealousy and criticisms of others. There are a multitude of things I could type here but I'm going to leave it up to you to find out more.  I have Myspace, Facebook, MSN and Yahoo so if you ever want to look me up or chat just let me know.  I don't have many friends in Council Bluffs because they either move away or get a different job.   My goal on CafeMom is to meet new friends, talk to those who have been there, give advice to those who haven't and share the little miracles that have come into my life with the world.
