I am a Canadian who fell in love with an American Soldier. We are having a baby, and it was unexpected, but we feel very blessed. I am learning lots about motherhood as he has two children from a previous marriage. I am a nurse, but  have been off work since April due to complications during my pregnancy. I am now on Maternity leave for a year, just waiting for our bundle of joy to arrive. I find myself nesting more and more each day as I spend a large majority of my time alone. I have a wonderful support system, both friends and family. My partner is very understanding, and has taught me a lot about parenting.
