July 21, 2006 was a magickal night! Born under a waning Moon, following the brightness of a Blessing Moon, my first grandchild was born to my eldest daughter. Sharing in the phase of the Moon, I am transformed into the figure of the Crone, whole-heartedly and with great pride. Sharing Lamaze classes with my daughter was a special time for me, but the experience of helping her give birth was a precious moment.

A year later, we celebrated my grandson's 1st birthday & baptism, Hawaiian Style! Family, friends, a bountiful feast, Tahitian dancers & many blessings made it a celebration to remember.

At 14 months, he's cautiously taking his first steps. I know that once he becomes more confident in his stride, I'll be chasing him all over the house. Fragile collectibles out of reach & safety latches installed... I'm ready! :)
