I am a full time college mom. I have 3 wonderful, beautiful, busy kids that I adore! (Even when they drive me crazy!! ) We host International Exchange students from all over the world. I think we have had about 30 now. I lost count!

I am a Christian mom. I feel that my faith has truly saved my life on many occasions, and kept me from not giving up on my education - or my personal mission to try and help as many young people as I can. 

Before I went back to school, i was a full time child care provider in my home for 12 years. It was a wonderful job. I love kids! But, i always wanted to pursue my dream of a real education. I came from a very dysfunctional family, so i dropped out of school in middle school, and lived on the street and in my brothers car,  i had no one to turn to.  

I had 2 jobs and my own apartment at 15 years old. I gave birth to my oldest child Krystal when i was barely 17. Being a single mom was hard, but what was even harder was trying to raise a child in total poverty.  

I am trying to teach my children that an education is such a gift.  That don't understand that, because they didn't have to give it up just to survive. I want my kids to succeed in life where i have failed, i want them to be successful and never have to struggle the way i did. I want them to know Jesus.
