    I am proud to be the first mom to represent the great state of Washington in the U.S. Senate!

    When I first ran for the U.S. Senate, I did so because I felt that the voices of Washington state families and average Americans were often missing from the national debate in Washington, D.C. And ever since I won election, I wake up everyday thinking about the needs and priorities of our state and I go to work to be your voice in the U.S. Senate.
