My children mean the world to me.  I live for them, but they probably will not understand this until they are even older than they are now, or become moms themselves.  I cherish the time I get to spend with them, even only a few minutes.

My other greatest love is Yosemite National Park.  The quote from Ansel Adams says it all.

"That first impression of the Valley - white water, azaleas, cool fir caverns, tall pines and stolid oaks, cliffs rising to undreamed-of heights, the poignant sounds and smells of the Sierra... was a culmination of experience so intense as to be almost painful."

 I am also a peace monger, and love writing my representatives regarding ending the war, putting a stop to global warming (right now!), preserving nature and animals, finding alternative energy sources, recycling, and preserving human rights.
