We have not found a partner yet but are still looking. Curtis is working on intermediate moves and the Willow Waltz and Ten Fox in dance. He was supposed to test last week, but was off for 2 weeks with an injury. We're hoping that there's a lot of little girls who are like your daughter and want to switch to dance. I'm told that this is the age it happens.

Did you ever find a dance partner? Celia watched her coach fnalize his senior dance freeskate. She was dazzled. Now she wants to dance skate. I told her to move up 4 levels. She is schedule for Oct 5, pre juv. I guess 5 weeks off ice does something to someone. She has never so focused.

Per your suggestion, I started a forum called Parents Of Tweens Entering 6th grade. All can join and all I hope can chime in and help others get thru the nuttiness of 6th grade. Hope to see you there.

I have thought about getting our DD a dance partner but wasn't sure about the whole logistics of the thing. DD has mentioned she might enjoy this but I am not sure about the price tag involved. She is now working on her axel and double sachow. Our daughter 5 foot exactly. DD is now attending an ice dance class in Ann Arbor. This is thru one of the coaches who does do dance. She has had two coaches for 2 years who have done nothing but dance. Wow. If you want to talk, let me know.

Hello Rochester Hills! We may have bumped into each other during competitions. We practice out of Ann Arbor. Tell your son to keep up the good work. Our DD was diagnosed as borderline ADHD. No meds here. Just keeping her active, focused and a restricted diet. Isn't skating a great way to keep them focused with all that energy? Hope to bump into you soon.
