Hi!! My name is Barbi and I am 39. In a previous life, I was a boom operator for the US Air Force (which means I laid on my tummy and passed gas at 30,000 feet in the air!) I had flown Desert Storm, then after getting out, was very "corporate" as an accountant for 12 years. In May 07, I married the love of my life, Adam (who is 10 years younger than me!), on the beaches of the Outerbanks, NC. We just welcomed our honeymoon baby girl, Victoria Helene on January 9th! Guess I'm not "preggomom" any more! !

After many years of being out in the stressful job market, I have finally been able to be a SAHM! I recently have become an Independent Sales Consultant for Pampered Chef AND for Taste of Home Entertaining, and I am loving every minute of it!! It gives me the flexibility to stay home with the kids, yet extra income that we all need these days! Not to mention, wonderful nights out with the girls, cooking and having fun! I would love to share the amazing monthly specials for guests, and even more incredible specials for hosts! And if you are looking for a way to make ends meet in these tough times, I would love to share more with you! Just ask!! 

I am the mother of 2 teenagers, my son is 18 and daughter is 14, who are such amazing and wonderful kids, even when they are being typical teenage monsters!  They are very excited to have a new baby sister.  I absolutely LOVE being a new mom again. I never thought it would happen to me, especially this late in life, but I wouldnt change it for the world (although some nights my tired old body will disagree!) I appreciate every single second of Victoria and feel my age has only made me a much better mommy. I am very involved in mom's groups, playdates and the occasional ladies night!  I feel...lol..."seasoned"!! Not to mention, totally blessed!!!

I have the most amazing husband in the world! Caring, affectionate, loving and the most loyal soul I have ever met. He has truely taught me HOW to love and what it feels like to be loved totally and unconditionally.

We have 2 knucklehead Siberian Huskies, Bo and Luke (can you tell someone is a Dukes of Hazzard fan??), who are two years old. They keep me very busy with all the shedding! UGH!! Adam has rigged a scooter to accept the boy's leads and they pull him on it through the neighborhood...its actually called "The General Lee"! He is a very well known site around here! He has yet to figure out how to attach skiis to the wheels...Im sure he will do it tho! Adam owns his own general contracting business,  as well as plays professional hockey as a goalie.
