Still don't remember how I came across CafeMom, but I'm very happy I did. I received much comfort from mothers on this website after my son was stillborn at 30 weeks, due to a placental abruption, on July 5, 2008. My husband & I were heartbroken..... A couple months later we lost another one, at 7 weeks. After we lost our firstborn son, my doctor discovered that I have the Factor V mutation, which is a blood clotting disorder. I currently take a daily baby aspirin (and Lovenox when pregnant).
December 16, 2009 we welcomed our little girl Rebecca into this world! She's the love of my life (besides my DH, of course!) She is absolutely beautiful and perfect in every way. We're currently breastfeeding and plan to do so for as long as I can.
Looking forward to talking to other mothers dealing with similar issues, or anyone just wanting to say hi. ~ Rachel
