I am a 35 year-old first time Mommy... and I was lucky enough to have a beautiful set of boy/girl fraternal twins! Thankfully we went full-term (for twins) and had them (via schedule C-section) at 38 weeks, 1 day. I'm amazed at how much they learn, and how quickly. My friend recommended this site, and it's really wonderful (thanks, Gena).
When I feel really tired, or like I've had a hard day, I just come on here and see how easy I have it compared to all the mothers out there with more than two kids....even multiple sets of multiples! You women are awe-inspiring.
Recommendation (for anyone expecting multiples): If you don't have it already, I highly recommend the book "When You're Expecting Twins, Triplets, or Quads" by Dr. Barbara Luke and Tamara Eberlein. There were a lot of really helpful things in there that, obviously, weren't covered in "What to Expect..."

My husband and I saw this woman on t.v. and instantly things got easier with our babies. We were lucky enough that the babies tended to use the pre-cry words until about 4 months.
