"Yes," he sighed. "She's my old girlfriend. I understand she started drinking right after we split up those many years ago, and I hear she hasn't been sober since."
"My God!" I said. "Who would think a person could go on celebrating that long?" He was not amused.

I have been in the Hospital for 10 days,I was discharged last night,my appendix rupterd & according to the dr who did my surgery it was the second worst appendix rupture they had ever seen,i could have died ,now i'm home i won't be around much after all this but i'll come on when i can.
