    Thank the Lord for our little bundle. I feel so blessed that the Lord has trusted us to raise one of His children. There's so many things that society tells us about children, and it's easy to believe it, but when you turn to the Bible all you see is positive- children are never seen as a burden, chore, or inconvenience.

    I thank God for showing me that.

    Psalms 127:3 Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

    Proverbs 17:6 Children's children are the crown of old men; and the glory of children are their fathers.

    Matthew 8:3-4 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

    Luke 18:16 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.

  • Memo to Me

                                                           

    This is a memo to myself. It can apply to quite a few aspects of my life, but at this stage it  applies to what I am going through right now in terms of carrying a child and preparing to be a mother.

    I have ways of doing things that are best for me, and approved by the Lord, so I don't need to engage in debates on whether or not my choices are valid. It's between me, my husband, and God. But I might need to be reminded of that occassionally. Still, society won't dictate my choices as just about everything that society says is counter to what God says.

    So dear self, be wise, be discerning, and don't throw your pearls to the swine.

    Matthew 7:6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
