The first thing that everyone should know about me is that my family is the most important part of my life. Without them, I just wouldn't be me.

My husband and I have been married for 4 years as of Jan. '10, we've been together for over 5 years. We're high school sweethearts, we've been through everything together, and he truly is my bestfriend and the love of my life. He's an ET in the Navy currently stationed on the USS Eisenhower out of Norfolk. I'm so proud of what he does for our family and our country.

My children are Connor, Landon, and Evelyn Isabella. They are the best things that have ever happened to me. They keep me busy and never fail to remind me that every moment in life is precious. They're my world.

Right now, I'm a stay at home mom by choice. At some point, I'd like to go to college to get my AS as a paramedic. When it'll actually happen, I don't know, but for now, I really just enjoy being with my kids. Being a stay at home mom is a really hard job, it's work, just like anything else. I have nothing but respect for moms who work and have kids. They truly work miracles...that was my mom. I'd also love to go to med-school one day, but I'm not sure how serious I am about that right now.

10 Things I Love (Aside from my family, of course)
    1. The Twilight Saga-I started reading the saga during a bad point in my life; a turning point. The books gave me an escape and allowed me to gain perspective. They kept me sane. As silly as it sounds, it helped to save my marriage by helping me rediscover who I was and all of the things I want out of life. My daughter is named after characters from those books.
    2. Pumpkins-Halloween is my favorite holiday of the year, probably because of pumpkins. I don't know why, but they make me happy. Ridiculously so.
    3. The ocean-Really, any kind of water. No matter what's going on in my life, I can always think there. I'm always free.
    4. Sitting in the shower-There's just something that's so relaxing about it for me. I go do that when I can't get to a beach. :)
    5. Being outdoors-I love getting fresh air and being outside.
    6. Shoes-I don't know why. There are very few girly things about me but this is one of them.
    7. Shopping-Even if it's just window shopping, I enjoy it. Again, one of the very few girly things about me.
    8. Precipitation-Rain, mostly, but I also love the snow. I guess just weather in general.
    9. History-Particularly American history, but I do enjoy ancient Egypt.
    10. Medical science-I absolutely love learning about medicine.

    10 Things I Hate:
    1. Bad drivers-Anyone who just doesn't seem to know what they're doing; the people that you really have to wonder about how they got licensed.
    2. Lying-I'm sure this irritates just about everyone, but I could probably smack down with just about anyone who does it to me.
    3. Betrayal-Loyalty is a huge thing for me, and if I can't trust you, I don't want you in my life. I'm not a forgiving person so once you've done something to really set me off, it's done and over with.
    4. Deployment-No explanation needed
    5. People talking about things they have no clue about.
    6. Base housing-At least where I am anyways. It really sucks.
    7. People who bash my religion-Especially the people that call me a devil worshipper. But that kind of goes back to number 5.
    8. Arrogant military wives-I think most of us have run into problems with that at some point. You know, the women that wear their husband's rank like they earned it, spread gossip, or just generally look down on other wives for whatever reason.
    9. Double standards-Can't stand it. Hypocrits.
    10. Military bashers-I don't think I really need to explain that one, but if you have anything negative to say about our military, don't say it to me. Basically, if you don't support our troops, feel free to stand in front of them.
