I have been married for 21 years. My husband is a career navy man. We have been through some rough times in our marriage but worked them out and I can seriously say that we are happier now than we ever have been.

My father has lung cancer and has had to have 4 surgeries over the last 3 years. This time he has to have chemo so my job is to help him and raise my daughter who is now 15. I have a 20 year old son as well and he has a fantastic girlfriend that we love like she was our own

I have two totally spoiled and neurotic dogs, Barney our Great Dane/Boxer mix, and Angel our Westhighland White Terror errr I mean Terrier. We also have a cat named Charley.

I love my kids (4 footed & 2), cooking, reading, scrapbooking, UFC/MMA, Football, the beach, body art, and STARBUCKSSSS My daughter said my screenname for CafeMom should have been Vanilla Latte LOL I need a 12 step program I swear!

I hate ignorance.

In April of 2004 I had gastric Bypass surgery and have lost 160 pounds. I had an awful Dr and almost died but am still thrilled that I did it. I started at almost 300 pounds! I was almost completely non ambulatory and now I can get up and go and do whatever I want. It is a whole new lease on life!
