    Shalom Beloved!
I haven't had internet access at home for a while, not sure when I'll get a new modem. Lots of horrid things going on in my family. Crushed emotionally, but dealing with it all, not hiding or denying. BIG change for me. Yeshua has lifted me up and carries me THROUGH. There will be healing for us through this. HUGS

"An Attitude of Excellence" pt. 6

May you receive more and more covenant grace and peace in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ the Anointed Savior!

Philippians 1:9-10 says, "And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment, so that you may surely learn to sense what is vital, and approve and prize what is excellent and of real value, in order to be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ." How do you learn to sense what is vital - what is necessary for imparting and experiencing the life of God? You have to spend more time with things that impart the life of God. More time meditating and confessing the word of God. More time talking to the Lord about all kinds of things and praying. More time listening to good, strong teaching of God's word.

You may feel like you are already very busy and you don't have time for all that. But you have heard me say it before: nothing is so important that it can't wait for God. First of all, check and make sure that everything you are doing is what the Lord has called you to do. You may be doing something that the Lord never told you to get involved with. For people who like to help others, do a lot of church activities, and get involved with community groups, you have to make sure that you don't allow these interests to steal your time and take your attention away from God. We all have things pulling on us. Some of it is worth our attention; some of it isn't. That's why you have to learn to sense what is vital; sense the difference between what God has called you to do and what someone else is trying to get you to do because they know that you always say "yes". Even if it's a good thing, if God's isn't in it for you, then for you it's not a good thing. One easy way to learn to sense what is vital and God's direction for you is to ask, "Lord, is this something that You want me to do?" Then without making any excuses, follow the direction that He is leading you.Be on your guard! Stand firm in the faith! Be courageous! Be strong! Do everything in love!

    Jesus is returning soon!

Go with God (Love), and God (Love) will go with you!

    Love!

    Christ 1,

    Renee
