My name is Shanna Mitchell.  My husband's name is Emory.  We've been together for nine years.  We met in Febuary of 1999, we got pregnant in April and married in July(all of that in the same year).  Though we did not do this the right way..look at us now nine years later and four amazing daughters.  My oldest is Madison...who has to have all our attention.  Then there is Hailey..who is so sweet and can entertain herself all day. Then Sage...who is my cute little mouse. And last is Isabella...who is moms little cuddle bear!!  We live in Joplin, Missouri.  I moved here back in 1998 from Ulysses, Kansas. I decieded I needed a change so i moved to Missouri!!  My husband has been in this area all of his life.  Someday he would like to move but i really enjoy this area. I'm currently staying at home with my daughters. There is a few day out of the week that i help a friend out with her business. I enjoy that I can be able to still take my kids to school and pick them up. And if anything comes up, I'm still able take care of them and still help out. I'm very blessed that I'm able to stay at home and has always been able to be at home with my kids.  I love being a house wife and being able to be there for my family.  I don't know what life holds for me...but for now life is great!!!  My husband is in school getting his Master's in Christian Counseling and Family and Marriage Therapy.  He hopes to have a positive impact on being able to keep family's and marriages together in a Christian way.  That is our family!!!   Even though we had our tough time and some times it seems like there were more of them then good. I'm thankful for them. They help me realize what things are important and was is not.  I continue to learn many things that help me on this journey in life and God has put wonderful people in and out of my life. And I'll continue this journey taking one day and time... We put God first, then each other, then kids, then friends and family.  We our very thankful for all the blessings God has given us!!!!!
