    Hi,

My name is Shirley.  I live in Massachusetts.

I'm turning 40 next year.  I'm happy about this, because me and my girlfriends will be going away to Vegas to celebrate for a few nights!  Now I can't wait to turn 40.

I am home mostly.  I also sell my paintings.

I have lots of hobbies, sewing, art, making stuff, gardening, but not enough time to do them.  I exercise as much as possible, which hasn't been much lately.

I've written a children's book and am in the process of illustrating it.  It's difficult to find time with a two year old, but I'll do it.

I bring communion to a 99 year old lady every Sunday.  I love it.  She doesn't get out, so I know she lives to hear all the stories I bring to her.   She is probably happy just to have a warm body in her apartment, but it makes me feel special.  We have a lot of laughs.  I love the elderly.

I have a terrific husband.  He does leave more than an occasional sock or piece of trash on the floor.  I nag, but I know it could be much worse.  He is also terrible at picking presents out for me.  He gave me a mens, large, mis matched black sweat suit from Walmart once.  He should know, if you are going to make a mistake in size, make it smaller. lol .Other than that he is nearly perfect.

My kids are great.  We love to go camping in our pop up camper.  It's great fun for the whole family and very snuggly in our little pop up.

My 6 year old has adhd.  We have been treating him with the feingold program.  www.feingold.org  check out my journal to here more about this.

I hope all children find something to help them and their families with their troubles.

I'm looking forward to learning from the other moms and wish everyone happiness!

Are you on the biomed mama's group here? If not you might want to join. They know alot about this protocol inc testing.
You probably know this, but if you don't, a trial elimination of gluten and caesin is always reccomended by bio doctor's. You don't have to be allergic to see a change. But the tests are helpful too, though not always right, they can steer you in the right direction.

thank you for your reply on my comment.
I'm sure I'll have a ton of question to come!
Right now I'm waiting for some blood test results to come back on David, but it turns out that he needs another one I guess, someone told me the quest one doesn't have the full results, like the foods that cause behavior problems, so...
    thank you!
