    What to say? Right now the prevailing feeling in my life is that I'm standing on the cusp. I'm 25 and have two obnoxiously beautiful boys. I'm married to my high school sweetheart and am loving it. I am a few semesters away from having a Bachelor's degree in both Poli Sci and Art History. Two years ago I put school on hold to work and be mom. Very soon I will be putting work on hold to be a full-time mom and go back to school (slowly, but surely). I never thought I'd choose this path, but everyday this decision seems more and more right. At this point in life, I'm content to be a mom, bake some bread and read philosophy books. I am looking forward to what the future holds.

    i didn't know you like to bake bread. do you have a bread maker or do you use your oven? and what kind of bread do you make? and remember when you said how you were going to make your cousins sandy and mike some bread? mmmm!!

A Boy with Autonomic Dysfunction - The Miller Family

Our Special Life

Oliver was born after having suffered a stroke while in his mother's womb. The resulting brain injury is called Dysautonomia (Autonomic Dysfunction). His doctors believe the stroke was the result of the miscarriage of his twin. Oliver is completely blind and his underdeveloped brain stem makes basic physical functions a challenge. In spite of all this, he is a happy, go-lucky, 12-year-old boy, and his mom wants people to meet the real Oliver, not just his medical hardships.
