    I'm not really all that exciting lol.  I'm a mom to one girl, Danica.  I was running my own business called Rissa's Slings and Things for a while but took a break to pursue a "real world" job. I am a Muslim revert and I feel that my life revolves around serving my creator.

    I've been married to my husband for almost 5 years now.  Currently we live around KCMO and do not plan on having any more children.  Oh, I've also got a soft spot for cats :-) We've got 2, Boogie and Sprinkles.

    My daughter is now almost 4 years old. My oh my how time flies.  I first joined cafemom while I was pregnant with her. However, that was under a different screen name :-)

    Just steam cleaned my entire upstairs. This is so much more house than I'm used to cleaning! Ugh and I haven't even started on the basement yet.
