- I am a child of God, though far from perfect.

- I am blessed in the fact that I am married to my soul mate. A wonderful husband, father, doctor, and all around great guy.

- I'm a WAHM (small time photographer).

- I am a submissive wife.

- I'm obsessed with Sex and the City.

- I cloth diaper, breastfeed, naturally birth, babywear, selectively vaccinate, recycle, believe in the family bed, am non-circumcising, extended rear facing, extended harnessing, make my own babyfood, momma. I try to do 'eco-friendly' where I can.

- We are raising what has been termed "unplugged kids", which means that you will NOT see our children propped in front of a television half of the day, nor will you see them in the store with a cellular phone or iPod.  They watch television, but sparingly. They use the computer, but sparingly. Our kids don't have cellular phones nor iPods. They create their own worlds with their imaginations, which is what we prefer.

- We're also raising what has been termed "free range" kids which means that, though we believe in keeping our children safe, we don't believe that they need a security squad with them for everything that they do. We allow our children to go play in the backyard unsupervised. We leave them in rooms of our home, unsupervised. Why? Because we have taught them the "common knowledge" on how to behave and what to do on their own. We believe that society these days has become too overprotective. We get tired of hearing about organic this, this is better than that, your child shouldn't do that. We allow our children to be children.
