This Year Somebody_Loved Resolves to:

Get Out of Debt

How will this resolution have an effect on Somebody_Loved?

I would like to be able to purchase a home, and this won't be accomplished unless we reduce our debt and raise our credit scores.

How will this resolution have an effect on Somebody_Loved's family?

My kids are 8 & 9, almost 10. We have rented their whole lives, and buying a home would provide a more stable enviroment for them, where they can grow their roots and blossom into wonderful young men.
