I am the asst. program coordinator for B.A.B.E.S of New London, a non -profit respite  center for children and families that are experiencing stress or other situations that effect their everyday lives. I am a SAHM to a pretty seven year old named Katelynn, a loving (extremely happy) wife to *gasp* an older man (21yrs apart) . I love to walk, read, watch movies, go on the computer and *gasp* go on frequent date nights with my handsome husband. I am also the secretary on the  PTO,  and  work as an educational tour/program volunteer at our local museum.  I also do two days a week as a classroom/room mom at two local elementary schools  and am currently an online mentor to 5 inner city teens. I am a PROUD spanker, believe in CIO and independence in children, NON co-sleeping because it is just plain lazy ass parenting, FF because BF is  disgusting, NON extended rear facing (they are just as safe forward facing and a whole lot more comfortable), I strongly support gay rights and equility and am a very proud atheist.  I also have a masters in educational sign lang. interpreting and teach a class for homeschooled students at our local library.
