  • Personal Statement

    I am a first-time mom to five-month-old Logan.  He's my favorite little buddy; I like to call him my little monkey because he's a goofball.

    I left my home in West Texas to come live with my parents while I go to school for a while.  Logan likes it here because he gets spoiled and gets to go on nice, long walks in a beautiful neighborhood.

    Logan and I are Baptists but we will be attending Cornerstone Christian Church while we stay with my parents.  I'm still not sure which part of the "Greater San Antonio" area we are going to settle in so I don't want to get too attached to a church this quickly.

    I have been looking at cosmetology schools for the past weekj and I think I've found the one I want to attend, the Milan Institute of Cosmetology.  I will be taking the esthetician course.  I want to eventually (as soon as five years) own my own spa.  So we will be saving some (or A LOT) of money for a while.  Which is fine because we like to be frugal anyway.

    thanks for the comment. You should see if your school has a day care. A lot of them do now adays, to accomadate their students!
