By God's grace and mercy, I have been made righteous in His sight. I am a former first grade teacher. I have three angels waiting to meet me in Heaven. I finally experienced my first "healthy" pregnancy, that ended up not being that healthy...  Despite contracting West Nile Virus at 33 weeks, my little miracle and I pulled through.

I was recently accepted into the Institute for Children's Literature to learn how to market my work to publishers and hone my skills as an author.  Can't wait to get published one day!  I've been a dancer and cheerleader my whole life, although I haven't had much opportunity to do so lately. I love to sing, wake/snowboard, shop, play board games, watch movies, and spend time w/ my husband and friends.  I'm a Disneyland-aholic... if I could live in the park, I would. My favorite color is orange, and I never go anywhere without my chapstick!

My family and I moved to Chicagoland just before my son was born so that my husband could pursue his MBA.  Although we're enjoying meeting new people and exploring new territory, it's not the same as "home"... and I'm looking forward to heading back to CA in a couple of years.
