  • Personal Statement

    Two years ago, I was a normal, 17 year old, high school senoir, waiting to graduate. I felt I had no meaning to my life. No excitement. Coincidently, my SO felt the same way. That's when we sat down, and thought long and hard, and deicided to TTC.

    We had been trying extremely hard and got nowhere....oh so we thought. 3 months before our big graduation day, I found out I was 4 months pregnant with our little boy. Since I was mature enough to TTC, I felt I was mature enough not to hold it back from my mom. I told her the truth about everything. Including that we were intentionally TTC.

    I finish high school of course, got into LSU, got my own place with my SO and had Jeremiah Brandon Spears on August 25, 2009 @ 2:09pm. He weighed 7lbs 14.2oz.

    My life couldn't be going any better right now. I truly feel blessed and I was faithful that God wouldn't give me anything I couldn't handle.
