My life has never been easy, but I would never change it either.  The experiences I have gone through have made me the person I am today.  I was married for 18 years, during that time I helped raise my husbands two boys.  We had equal custody of them.  They were and still are my boys.  We tried for 14 years to have a baby, with no luck.  When we decided to stop trying, and wait for grandchildren to bless our lives we got a call about whether we would be interested in adoption.  A family friend had been a caseworker with a young mom, pregnant with her 4th child.  We decided to go ahead and do it.  8 months later we were blessed with The birth of our son Tyler.  The next two years were wonderful with our new addition.  But we also began our period of loss.  When my son was just 2 years old, we lost my dad.   My husband was diagnosed with a brain tumor and given 3 - 6 months to live.  My grandma died of cancer right before christmas of 2003, My husband died one month later.  Life was chaotic, but things came around and calmed.  I met my fiancee shortly after my husbands death.  Life was good for a while, I was blessed with a beautiful grandson Joey.  Right after that my son was diagnosed with Aspergers and ADHD.  Crazy again, but good.  We almost lost my fiancee Bob a year ago, to a heart attack, his health is better but still not great, but we have survived together as a family.  Just one month ago we were blessed with a grand daughter Peyton.  Life is never easy, but with the good, comes the bad.  Life is what we choose to make it.  I choose my life, crazy, chaotic, full of ups and downs, together we can weather it.  KEEP BELIEVING IN YOURSELF.
