My name is Tanya. I am 24. I am engaged to my best friend. We are getting married June 20, 2009. We both have a child from a previous relationship. My son, Kent, is almost 7. My fiance's daughter, Lili, is 9. We plan to start TTC about 6 months after we get married.

I am a birth junkie! I am planning a homebirth with my future babies, possibly UC. I believe in extended breastfeeding, educated vaccination, leaving baby boys intact, co-sleeping, attachment parenting, baby wearing. I am trying to transition to a more natural, simple way of living. I am having fun experimenting with natural body care and cleaning products, homeopathy, healthy recipes, herbs, etc.

I work at an office and I go to school part-time for a bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science. I really want to be a homebirth midwife though.
