I'm a Christian wife and mother who homeschooled three children for 19 years.   Did I have it all together?  Of course not...while most days went well, there were other days I wanted to hide my head under the covers and skip school!    

My hubby and I live on the old family farm where he grew up.  When the children were little, we raised cattle, goats and puppies.  Life was full of adventure back then, and I sorta miss that. 

I've written in a personal journal for 26 years and love to go back and read funny things the children did and said, the places we traveled and the people we met.  

My hobbies include photography, writing, walks with my hubby and reading a good book now and then. 

One book I read daily is very precious to me -- God's Word, otherwise known as the Holy Bible.  That's where one can find the guidance, wisdom, peace, love and joy we all crave.   This is possible through knowing the author of the book - the Creator of the Universe, and His Son, Jesus Christ.   

"For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.  He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life..."  John chapter 3, verses 17 & 36
