I am a mother of a 9 year old daughter. She lives with her father in north Alabama and I live in central Alabama. I see her every other weekend and on other specified dates.

It is really hard, as a mother to have this kind of arrangement with my child. She and I have gone through some tough times and I am constantly trying to work it out with her. Her father and stepmother put crazy ideas in her head about how our relationship should be. That has been and still is the hardest thing to over come. I am working really hard at it though. I love her with all my heart and all I ever wanted was what was best for her.
