Hi moms reading this! I'm an at-home-mom in Anchorage, Alaska. I have two great girls. My girls are 5 1/2 years apart. I'm still home with a little one. I'm pretty liberal, pretty artsy, but also a big believer in moderation and balance. I'm very driven to achieve my dreams, and I've achieved a lot in my life. Sometimes I have a hard time with friends who have less in their life. And I still want to achieve more! I have a hard time finding other at-home-moms that feel they deserve to get out once in awhile, moms that feel they deserve to take care of themseves too. There's got to be other moms like me! Anything that has to do with the ocean I love! I grew up on a sailboat. I try to get my family out of state at least once each winter to do some snorkeling and beaching. I hope to have a second home someday to make it even easier to get away. I'm a freelance graphic designer so I have my own business and work out of my home (part time). My husband is great. I'm having a hard time finding other women that even like their husbands! He does works too much though. I spend a lot of time on my own with the girls. I like pets (I have dachshunds), I like gardening, I like nature and the outdoors. I like to cook healthy meals, and actually eat around a table. I like to work out when I have a chance. Even though I'm an evironmentalist at heart I sometimes use paper plates! Even though I'm a feminist, I'm dependent on my husband at the moment :) Can you relate? Best wishes!
