Hmm....let's see.....I grew up in a tiny isolated town in the pacific northwest and although I lived in the city for a few years during my early twenties I'll always be a small-town girl. The city never really rubbed off on me. I went to clubs and shows but they were just.....ok. My real idea of a good time is hiking in the wilderness all day then spending the evening relaxing around a campfire.

I have several hobbies that I'm passionate about. My hobbies don't exactly fit in with most of the other moms I meet and I sometimes feel as if I have two separate lives, my "mom" life and my "just me" life. As mom I go to many playdates and playgroups. I talk with my friends about parenting, our husbands, or just life in general. Then when I have some time to myself I play FFXI, watch horror movies, read science fiction or horror, and listen to metal. I don't hide these interests but they just don't quite mesh. My friends who are interested in one side of my life aren't interested in the other, lol.

I love animals, both wild and domestic. We have a dog, three cats, and numerous tropical fish. I'd love to have a more exotic pet, I like snakes and other reptiles a lot, but don't feel I have time for it. Possible at some point in the future....

Well that's me, pretty much. If you met me in person you'd notice immediately that I'm quiet and fairly reserved. I'm very cautious in social situations and also just in general. I also have a very dark sense of humor that's not usually apparent until I get to know a person a bit.
