After working for almost 24 yrs. , I am now a stay at home mom.  My son is 7 yrs old and I want to be involved more with his schooling.  My mother never worked and raised four of us and I know what that meant to come home knowing mom was always there.  I have always lived close to my parents, they were an important part of my life.  I lost my father at 74yrs to lung cancer in April of '06 (2 years today). Then nine months later, Jan. '07 I lost my mother at age 63 to colon cancer.  At the loss of both parents in less than a year was alot for me to deal with.  So now I try to be the great mom that my mother was to give him the values that we were given. I am here to connect with other moms that have some of the same interests as I do.
