I am a Born-again Christian, a wife and the proud mommy of the "Wild Woman" Aspen Belle (born Dec 1, 2005).
I am a stay at home mom who owns a business called Stroller Strides, which is very supportive of motherhood. Stroller Strides is a unique fitness program incorporating both the baby and a stroller. In 60 minutes, participants will get a total body workout to help shed the baby weight while improving cardiovascular endurance, strength and flexibility. Along with walking, Stroller Strides uses the environment as a gym by doing intervals of body toning using exercise tubing and the stroller. It brings together a group of parents who are going through the same amazing and exhausting experience of living with a baby. It provides a great support system where everything, including fitness, is so much easier.
If you are a Virginia mommy and are local to Mechanicsville, Varina, Quinton, or New Kent, check out www.strollerstrides.net/mechanicsville for a class schedule or call 800-366-1725. Also join my meetup group at http://moms.meetup.com/3350 where you can receive reminders for the classes, the free playgroup, and mom's night out events.
My family is very health conscious, so another part of my life is shopping from and referring others to shop with The Wellness Company, Melaleuca. I love telling people about how they have blessed my family with safer products for our home, our bodies, and for the environment. They also share their revenue with us, which makes it easy to add a few hundred a month to our budget.
My all time favorite "job" though, is definitely being a mommy.

In your personal opinion, what do you understand it takes for a person to get to heaven and have eternal life?
I would like to share with you how the Bible answers that question. We can use the word FAITH.
F is for Forgiveness
Everyone has sinned and needs God's forgiveness.
"All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)
God's forgiveness is in Jesus only.
"In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace." (Ephesians 1:7)
A is for Available
God's forgiveness is available for all.
"God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him, shall not perished, but have eternal life." (John 3:16)
God's forgiveness is available but not automatic.
Jesus said "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord' will enter the kingdom of heaven." (Matthew 7:21)
I is for Impossible
According to the Bible, it is impossible to get to heaven on our own.
"By grace you are saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God's gift - not from works, so that no one can boost." (Ephesians 2:8-9)
So how can a sinful person have eternal life and enter heaven?
T is for Turn
If you were going down the road and someone asked you to turn, what would he or she be asking you to do? Change direction.
Turn means repent.
Turn away from sin and self.
"Unless you repent, you will all perish as well!" (Luke 13:3)
Turn to Jesus alone as your Savior and Lord.
"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." (John 14:6)
Here is the greatest news of all.
"If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. With the heart one believes, resulting in righteousness (right with God), and with the mouth one confesses, resulting in salvation." (Romans 10:9-10)
What happens if a person is willing to repent of their sins and confess Christ?
H is for Heaven
Heaven is a place where we will live with God forever.
Jesus said "If I go away and prepare a place for you, I will come back and receive you unto Myself, so that where I am, you may be also." (John 14:3)
Eternal life begins now with Jesus.
"I have come that they may have life and have it more abundantly." (John 10:10)
H can also stand for how.
How can a person have God's forgiveness, eternal life and heaven?
By trusting in Jesus as your Savior and Lord.
Understanding what you have just read, would you like to receive this forgiveness by trusting in Christ as your personal Savior and Lord?
Pray this prayer: Dear God, I know that You love me. I confess my sin and need of salvation. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sins and arose from the grave. I turn away from my sin and place my faith in Jesus as my Savior and Lord. I want to follow You with my life. Amen
FAITH also stands for Forsaking All I Trust Him.
